June Moon
Bringing research, art and communities together
June Moon is a creative engagement company founded to bring the worlds of academia and the arts into conversation with communities and audiences.
Through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary practice, we create opportunities for expression, exchange and learning through workshops, talks, performances and participatory experiences. Our work brings research beyond academic settings, making space for new perspectives, shared knowledge and meaningful connections through art.
Led by researcher, artist, choreographer and facilitator Sivan Rubinstein, June Moon works across disciplines to develop creative experiences that connect ideas, people and lived experiences.
Our work has included facilitating workshops at the British Library for Gaia and Luna and delivering the premiere of Novo at The Place, London. The premiere featured an immersive evening performance alongside a dedicated matinee for mothers and babies, with a gentle workshop, creating space for different audiences to experience and engage with dance.
Looking ahead
June Moon is developing a long-term vision to establish a dedicated community space. This future space will support the curation and development of art and research for community benefit, creating opportunities for people to come together, explore ideas and participate in creative life.
